Tennessee QB holding out for more $$$

One could argue though that Carson Beck is also not a $4 million QB either. The market is completely out of whack.
It's just like the draft. Sanders and Ward are not top half of the first round QBs, but they'll both go there because the QB is so overvalued. It's such an important position with such limited top end guys that the price just shoots up.

Not sure where people get this idea. I went to jail in college for trespassing. I can assure you it was 12 of the most miserable hours of my life.

But maybe jail is different than an asylum.
I went to county jail for a DUI back in the day.
Days consisted of sleeping in, reading books, watching TV, playing card games, taking naps, an hour of playing basketball, snacks from the commissary. I bought a radio to listen to music and Husker baseball games. No work deadlines or stress.

In other words, pretty much the same thing I do when I go on vacation. Honestly, it wasn't a bad time.

I think Ward will be a pretty darn good pro QB
I'm not really sold. I'm also inherently a bit sour on anyone's pro prospects that spent the last decade in school. So take that for what it's worth. To me this feels closer to the 2022 draft where someone was the top QB simply because they needed someone to be, rather than them actually being a top QB.

I also felt that way about 2023 with Young and Stroud, so take that fwiw too I guess.

Your logic isn't flawed, but claiming QB's are "overvalued," is misguided. Its the most important position in the World, regardless of sport.

Yeah I suppose I could have disected that a bit further. Essentially what I'm saying (and I think you get it) is that QBs are going to get much more than a lot of them should simply because they are QBs and they're in such high demand. A second or third round talent can easily find themselves in the first round to a desperate enough team.

UCLA also signed this dude in December. And he's been taking all the number 1 snaps this Spring:

The Bruins hired the OC from Indiana, and Aguilar has been running that same RPO offense for the last 3 seasons at APP State.
