Sandfort is a pretty good ball-handler too. Pryce, Blue, and Mast all have had positive A/TO ratios.

Combo Guards - who seem to be more their type
Gabriel Pozzato (Xaiver likely)
Maickol Perez (Italian kid, very quiet recruitment, might stay overseas)
CJ Luster (Stony Brook)
Jeremiah Williams (Rutgers)
Are we still in it for CJ Luster? I thought I saw somewhere we are out of it for him.

I wish Meah, Morgan, Essegian, Rollie and Uhlis played something close to those projections.
You've been "waiting this long" for a response and that's your big take away from all of that data?

I don't expect Luster to make it to campus. Don't think it's progressed past initial contact.

Or Uhlis. It’s sad when your best PG option is probably Sam. Love how hard he plays but you would think we could do better.
I don't disagree with you - I'd prefer a more well-rounded, true PG in place of Sam. That being said, I also really value what Sam does bring to the table. He has also been a heady, hustle and D player. But he started knocking down more shots in the back half of the season. I expect him to continue to improve in that department. Last year he averaged 3.8ppg. I don't think it's unrealistic to believe that he can get to over 6ppg.

You sent projections from last year that clearly weren’t met. What do you want my big take away to be? Are we going to discuss how if my aunt had a dick she’d be my uncle next?

1000%. Always love a hustle player and some grit. I’m not mad he gets minutes and he really does provide a spark. PBA goes nuts when he makes a play.

Simplified it for you.

1st Photo (both projections so it's about comparison)
77 > 68
34 > 32
14 > 12
6 > 5
15 fouls < 17
27 > 24
10 > 5

2nd Photo (based off production not projections)
Yellow = '25 (w/ 25 stats)
Red = '26 (w 25 stats minus Rienk)

I see a lot more red towards the top. What do you see?

I see yellow names at the top.

This is a very cute deflection attempt, but you’re yet to do yourself any favors.
Do you need me to be your friend or help you learn to read? I don’t know what to tell you? You think I’m deflecting, telling me I’m stupid and all of this is while you try to tell me what I said while it’s clearly posted on this thread. I can find the closest Sylvan center for you.

This really is cute. Clinging onto a paraphrase to try and invalidate anything I say. All to avoid admitting that you’re wrong.

And if you want to talk reading comprehension, I said what you said was stupid. I didn’t call you stupid. That would be mean.

And now we're back to the original response.

'26 current roster is better. This year's roster if it's 2 v 2.

You don't have to keep digging.
I’ll be honest with you, I think you really are a smart dude when it comes to hoops. That being said I don’t think comparing the projections/production of guys who played in the second toughest conference to the guys playing Summit/MVC is apples to apples.

Holy crap @Southendzonehusker! We all are saying that, no, we don't have anyone that we expect to be Brice or Juwan next year. However, the overall roster appears to be better because Rollie Worster was trash. Aron Ulis was trash. Gavin Griffiths was trash. And Braxton Meah was trash.

The top end of the team won't be as good as last year, but the overall depth of the team appears to be improved, which should provide for more consistency.

And I will continue to tag you as a constant reminder of how stupid and shortsighted you’ve been (and choose to double down on) by saying things like meaningless tournament (had better ratings than the NIT) and that Fred should have been home recruiting instead of in Vegas (gained two commits during that week). Now if you want to be stupid enough to stretch that to none of the guys we got are good and anyone who thinks otherwise is claiming this is a Final Four team now, that’s your own illness.
Twice in one post and it started because you think I said something I didn’t.

Whoops, I’m an asshole. Still doesn’t change the facts that you refuse to acknowledge. Maybe if you’d stop and look at how many people have tried pointing that out to you in a variety of ways, you’d realize that. But you keep on swinging away buddy!

Funny thing is that I agree with everything in this post and if @park_neb and @Goskers07 would have said that I would have said so then. Instead we are comparing stats. I think the talent we’ve gotten this year is a wash. Our biggest addition is the return of Mast.

So in conclusion, you've wanted my thoughts on next year's roster vs. '25's this whole time but:

- I can't use any information relating to production or projections from mid major conferences?
- I can't use stuff from last year b/c some guys played worse than projected (think deep on this one, cause I don't think it's making the point you think it is)

Aristotle's quote "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts" comes to mind here. Especially when the sum of '26's individual pieces are already greater than '25's.

Show me a basketball coach who's only worried about the Top 2 guys on his roster, and I'll show you an unemployed one.

Your inability to read a chart & numbers is the issue. Or just ask a genuine question if you couldn't understand it.

Everything I've posted is reiterating that exact point. All you have to do is come sit at the adult table.
