I understand that but that’s also not what I’m asking. Blue and Sandfort could be huge players for us. They could also be Meah.

Well then no because you very well could be leaving a wide open gap on the roster. How silly to even consider it at this point. Way too many what ifs.

Do I think we are on track to have a better roster than what we thought we had this time last year? I’d say fairly even. The return of Mast is the biggest boost, no doubt. Do we have someone that’s going to put up 18+ a game? I don’t think so (But no one expected Brice to do it either). So, again, I say it’s a push right now.

I do. But mostly because this year's team underperformed. It also doesn't have Rollie Worster on it, so that's a positive.

It literally is meaningless lol but the staff has done decently in the portal for sure.

Meaningless for who? It certainly wasn't meaningless to the players who got paid. It wasn't meaningless for momentum into the off-season.

Our best addition to the roster is getting Mast. Our team in general, hasn’t had a huge boost from the portal but hey we won the crown and the players got an extra $25K. Fred should be putting every effort into land another good guard and Ezra right now if he doesn’t want that seat to get any warmer.

And I will continue to tag you as a constant reminder of how stupid and shortsighted you’ve been (and choose to double down on) by saying things like meaningless tournament (had better ratings than the NIT) and that Fred should have been home recruiting instead of in Vegas (gained two commits during that week). Now if you want to be stupid enough to stretch that to none of the guys we got are good and anyone who thinks otherwise is claiming this is a Final Four team now, that’s your own illness.

I'm not the people you tagged in your question but I think we have a better roster for the upcoming season and still might add more players. Biggest thing for me is fit and Fred likes to run the 4 or 5 Out Offense which you need shooters for. We had numerous players this season that were not threats from the perimeter Rollie, Ulis, Meah and Morgan. Need shooters to spread the floor. We get Mast back who can not only facilitate but also shoot from 3. Fred has added a bunch of shooters to go with Essegian. Last year our only consistent 3 Pt Shooting threat was Williams as Essegian and Gary were very inconsistent. Add in the 3-4 outside shooting transfers plus Mast and our outside shooting high school recruit plus RS Freshman Frager who can shoot and we have more options. We don't need them all to be 40%+ shooters but if 2-3 of them can step up being contributors our offense should be substantially better. Doubt we have a Williams type scorer but we probably also won't have players like Rollie, Meah & Ulis who aren't scoring threats.
