197 FT attempts (62.4%) this past season = 6.35/game.

For comparison, Brice led us this past season with 214 FT attempts = 6.11/game.

Sign me up for Ezra! Dude ain't afraid to bang and gets after it.
Top 100 guy that plays well down low.

I’m sure he sucks still (@Southendzonehusker) but would be a great get again.

Now land us that dedicated PG!

I'd ultimately love to add a shot blocker in the post because the 3 post players we have aren't known as shot blockers. But if we can't get someone who can protect the rim then I'd love to add a physical PF like Ezra. He brings something the others don't have. Gary and Meah were our most physical players and they are both gone.

It's going to be interesting to see how Berke transforms physically in our S&C during the offseason if he stays. He looked to have arrived on campus carrying some bad weight and then was slowed by the ankle injury. I can see them getting him more lean and explosive.

They likely won't be targeting a "PG" in the traditional sense. Might see a bigger guard who can handle the ball. Fred does not like getting pigeon-holed on offense to needing one guy to initiate everything.

Then as long as we can get another guy or two capable of initiating, I’m happy. Right now it seems to be just Lawrence, who really struggled being the primary facilitator when last asked, and Mast, who I like but the way he is asked to do it is much different from someone like Williams. Any names they may be targeting for that?

Sandfort is a pretty good ball-handler too. Pryce, Blue, and Mast all have had positive A/TO ratios.

Combo Guards - who seem to be more their type
Gabriel Pozzato (Xaiver likely)
Maickol Perez (Italian kid, very quiet recruitment, might stay overseas)
CJ Luster (Stony Brook)
Jeremiah Williams (Rutgers)
