I could be wrong, but I believe the last time there were tariffs, other countries did not buy crops. That wasn’t covered by crop insurance and government bailed out farmers.

If there's a plan, the only one I can think of that makes sense is to attempt to force companies to manufacture in the US and automate the jobs with AI and robotics. Shit's still cheap and we hurt China.

I mean, I hope it works out that way. But there's been many a breakdown by very knowledgeable people in this sphere that have lambasted how the tariffs were rolled out.

We will all see how it works out. None of us can control or change things (although severe enough backlash by enough people may move the needle). Just along for the ride.

I will say, Cale Jacobsen did show out really well. But your overall point is more than sound.

Have a long time, older (in his 70's) friend, who lives in NY and has long been in the banking/finance/etc world. To the levels of being in meetings where the likes of the Waltons, Trump, Clinton's, etc were in many of these board type of meetings. He says tomorrow is looking like a 3 to 4% overall loss day again. I trust his prognostications.
