Was at the game today, and there were multiple 3rd down routes wide open underneath and HH chucked it into coverage downfield. Several drops by our WRs today as well which killed a couple drives.
HH needs to make decisions to run up field at every opportunity. When his back foot hits, if that ball ain't going, he should be. Several sacks were on him and he has become a tentative runner. I wonder if he's nicked up.
The offense is putrid and the defense looked off today as well. We did not play with nearly the energy of prior weeks.
Yeah. He sucks. So does every other QB on our roster. I think it’s pretty obvious we are going to white-knuckle it through this year with HH and then go portaling for next year (hopefully with better results than Sims).
Haarberg had 3 turnovers today, an additional fumble and an additional INT that luckily was given back because of a penalty away from the throw. Sims is bad and has horrendous issues, but Haarberg is worse. He leads the country in fumbles...
TLDR: Sims has turnovers on ~6.5% of snaps at NU, HH on ~3% of snaps. Sims Pass efficiency rating: 99.6 (https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/jeff-sims-1.html) Record as starter: 0-2 Sims turnovers: 7 (4 INT, 3 fumbles lost) Games played: 2 Turnovers per game: 3.5 Total snaps...

In case anyone forgot. Sims was in for 5 snaps last week. He turned the wrong way on the handoff twice, nearly snapped the ball into the motion receiver's butt again, and then fumbled his keeper which gave Purdue an instant 7 points.
Literally the entire board was finally in agreement that Sims was worse, and all the Sims cucks swore off of him saying they were done for good. And now, shocker, they're all back.
2 of these are direct functions of how little we attempt to pass. Completion percentage and YPA are highly correlated.
Obviously HH is no Greg Marino, and the completion percentage blows chunks, but this list feels like someone trying to restate the same thing in multiple ways to make it seem like it's more dramatic.
If we ignore the constant interceptions and fumbles and zero effort trying to recover his fumbles and him not being able to catch a shotgun snap, he's really not a bad running back

Plus they set that arbitrary average 14 attempts per game, so you lose most of the run the damn ball teams. It would be much more useful to compare him against QBs in his pass attempt range, averaging like 12-16 attempts per game or whatever. I'm sure he'd still be on the lower end but it wouldn't be as eye popping as this is.
