As long as Abdelmassian…or whatever his name is…no longer has his fingers in the program the better we will be.

Someone between Denim Dawson, Jamarques Lawrence and Ramel Lloyd Jr is gonna have to contribute in a fairly big way I’d think.

The good news is they’re all top 150 guys depending on which recruiting site you look at. The bad news is it’s Nebrasketball.

they have very little size or talent and they're very poorly coached, but other than that i like what i'm seeing.

I am more optimistic about basketball than I am about football. I can foresee basketball getting around 15-16 wins this year. Which would be a 5-6 game improvement. I think we can expect around a .500 record for both sports.

I think the arguments would be 1) you can't have deadweight coaches, and 2) the emphasis on finding talent superceded concerns about roster construction (Fred's fault), and 3) he wasn't landing the elite transfers like he did at ISU

Point one is spot on. Fred owns a lot of Matt’s behavior as he chose to just not deal with or ignore a lot.

not sure where we are on scholarships but that team is not winning more than 3 league games as currently comprised. they're also going to lose to Pickle Smoochers by a million again, can barely recall the last time that didn't happen.
