I can listen to DB leading up to a game because he’s generally pretty positive. Where he gets unbearable is about this time every year.

One of the guests or his co-host will state an opinion later on in the show. He’ll come up and say something like “You wouldn’t have that opinion if you knew what I knew and it has to do with what I alluded to earlier that I can’t say.”

Damon literally spends 3 hours a day hinting at doom and gloom shit that only comes to fruition 1/2 the time. He’s absolutely masterful at making a whole bunch of nothing sound like something and a big portion of our fan base eats it up and gets him the attention he craves. He’s basically the Husker football version of a cock tease.

I’m guessing that Mitch’s “source” was present when @Boondock_St_Sker heard Benning say that there might be a few disgruntled players. And Boondock basically said, if I’m not mistaken, that Damon delivered it in his usual cryptic manner.

I can’t think of any Nebraska media members who have been hard on Frost. In any other market the media would be absolutely killing him. The only two guys I’ve heard come hard after Frost are Slauson and Woodhead on their podcast, but they aren’t media members.
