I had a new Hustler Fastrac Super Duty 60” for the 7 years we lived on 20 acres (mowed ~3.5). It had a 26 hp Kawasaki. Never had a single issue with it. Just keep up on maintenance.
Had the flex forks and later added solid front tires cause I got tired of fixing flats.
If I had a do over, I would look into the models that the mowing deck flips up vertical for ease of cleaning under it and blade sharpening. Had a lot of wet grass types and dirt that I mowed over and had to clean the under deck buildup fairly often. There are some deck hose attachments where you can hook up a garden hose, turn the deck and water on to help clean under it, just not sure about speeding up rusting is my concern there.
I installed an electric winch in my garage ceiling to raise the front end up to gain access, but still had to lay on my side/back to get at it all, and work with arms over my head while laying there. Got more difficult as I aged.
The rest of the maintenance was easy peasey.
Last I looked the flip deck Hustler models limited you to 54” IIRC.
Grasshopper mowers have flip decks but they are $$$
Also, if your ground is rough, and even if not so bad, I’d consider the air-cushioned seats or similar as well. Wish I’d had one cause I couldn’t always mow full speed due to bumpy ground, but none quite fit my model at the time.
