I dunno but I asked some dumb follow up questions to that post
I know in the past that at least some Asst Coaches had accounts on Rivals. I thought someone mentioned that Dean use to give some free accounts to the North Stadium. With as controlling as Frost is it wouldn't surprise me. Same with Pelini. Riley was an open book and didn't seem to get after the sites about what posters said about him or the program.
I have a cousin who has a college internship with a Power5 school. His job is to monitor the message boards, magazines and newspapers looking for rumors or information on other teams and their players. So if a rumor that one of our QB's was not happy and might be transferring he would put together film and stats of the player for their coaches. He's looking for rumors of players looking to transfer, de-commit, unhappy about playing time,.... especially if there has been a coaching change.
With the way some of these posters defend our coach on the message boards I have to believe some of them have an agenda. Might not be North Stadium but they act like a Lioness guarding a newborn Cub. Also some have disappeared after we lost the game to Northwestern. Not like quit posting but actually cancelled their accounts or changed their names. We know Dean has spy accounts over here.
I'm not saying there couldn't be a coach or AD staff or two and when they see bullshit rumors (or even true ones) they try to downplay or put doubt into it.
Your example is a good one too for digging up dirt for recruiting. Especially for a low or no paid intern. Peepants up north probably has a couple dozen.
"Plant" is a much different word. It implies the coaches/AD are making them go on message boards to keep the image positive.
Like saying True colors is a north Stadium plant because he's been excessively optimistic. I can't say with 100% certainty he's not because I've only met him in person once. I would put it at the same confidence level that you're not an Cockeye plant for being negative earlier than most. Something like 99.999%.
I mean that makes more sense but he could be completely full of shit and just making up numbers. He's not the smartest guy.

Does anyone else think we need to lock down MJ soon so Wisky can’t interview him. That or if Lance L is our guy we need to get him signed. We are no longer the best job in the BIG. If Urban goes there bc of our regents we are screwed!

He earned his stripes last night with the W. Made the appropriate changes and now we are the favorite to win the division.
He has been a successful p5 coach. He is 1-0 as a HC against BIG competition. What else do you want the man to do? Fire Duval and we would be elite.
After the way the boys played last night, I wouldn’t be surprised if Turd calls him into his office today. MJ should have the interim tag removed soon.

MJ as head coach with the requirement that he brings on Unc to coach WR’s. We wouldn’t miss on a recruit ever again. That combo would be 🔥
If Omar Manning would have reached his potential with AM as QB we would have won our division easily. I also think we could have kept it competitive with tOSU in the title game. That happens and Frost would be looked at a lot differently today.

rosstar is an Cockeye troll and has been outed as such, several times. He's so bad at it, I consider him an insult to all trolls. His skillz are weak.

His most recent example was he was talking about how "Nebraska is now a stepping stone job to Cockeye."..... which is really hilarious. The idea that the next HC at Nebraska tears it up, goes to 3 CFPs in 5 yrs, wins a B1G title, wins 85% of his games and then goes "to take the next step in my career & win a NC, I'll be taking my talents to Cockeye" lol...
