I think it was Dylan Scott but could be mixing him up with some other poppy country douche nozzle.

The whole thing was just sooooo pandery to the point it was painful to watch. After every song was a “Ya know why I like playing in Nebraska, because y’all get dirt on your boots and enjoy a cold beer just like me” with his $500 shades and $1,000 pair of rhinestones jeans.

Spent the whole concert thinking about how much I wanted to punch him in the face.

I went to “Summer Jam” here in Denver a few times, which is basically a bunch of random rappers. Some are terrible.

My buddy in high school’s cousin is the drummer for the Killers. We went one year at Red Rocks and Brandon Flowers had a sore throat so canceled after one song. That sucked.
Current best band in the World

I've been to more shows than I can count (well over 2,000 shows) and seen plenty of bands that were not very good.
Mostly because they just suck in general, but to me this ? is always about the Worst PERFORMANCE

&

Without a doubt the WORST performance I ever saw was AEROSMITH

08/03/1983 @ Ventura County Fairgrounds ...1/4 mile dirt track outside.

We really went to see DIO and the Holy Diver Tour.

RJD was fucking amazng. Came on while it was still light out.
Ronnis, Vivian, Jimmy Bain and Vinny Appice.
Killer set list with Rainbow, Sabbath and Dio all represented:

Dio.png

Then the Joe Perry Less Aerosmith came out..
What an absolute clusterfuck of a show.
Tyler was as more fucked up than David Lee Roth at the US Festival.
As big a mess as I have ever seen on a stage. EVER.
He knocked a monitor off the stage.
He dropped the 5 scarf covered Mic Stand off the stage at least 3 times.

We left after 5 or 6 songs.
&
They left after 10:

A night or so later in The OC, they played the entire 15 songs in the set.
We witnessed pure shit at our show.

Without a doubt the worst ever.

Wow, my first concert was in 93 or 94 was an Aerosmith concert with Jackyl and thought they were pretty good.

One of the better concerts or shows I went to was in maybe 99 when I saw Motörhead at a bar in Kansas City and Nashville Pussy opened for them.

I went to see them again on the PUMP tour. With Joe Perry.
Probably around 1990 or so, and they (The Toxic Twins) were Sober and 100% on their game.
One of the best performances I ever saw.
The WORST and BEST - Aerosmith.

It's actually good, save for the shitty two Done with Mirrors tunes and Big Ten Inch, which I always thought sucked.
Lord of the Thighs is probably my 2nd favorite song by them. Mama Kin is probably #3.

Add in the last three Must Play tunes, and it had potential...but they absolutely fucked them all up.

I always preferred the GNR version of Mama Kin.

Believe it or not Tom Petty. I've been involved with over 2,000 concerts and for a major production it was a major snoozer. It was Petty's Fairwell Tour, at least their first Fairwell Tour. Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam is a huge Petty fan so he offered to have PJ open for the Tour even though PJ was a much bigger draw. I was excited to see Petty but speaking with the Pearl Jam crew before the show they said it was brutal. So freaking boring. I met Petty & his band. Really nice but they were getting up there in years and came across more as college professors than rock stars. One literally was wearing a turtle neck sweater with a twead sport coat with elbow patches. It was a true snoozer as there was ZERO energy except when someone from PJ would join them on stage. We had to sit through 2 days of this. They sounded like their CD but were just going through the motions. You could see that they didn't care as it was all about getting a paycheck. I might as well have been sitting on my couch listening to their CD. Barely interacted with the crowd and nobody moved around at all on stage. It was like they were a bunch of retired people from a Nursing Home getting together to play in the Bingo Hall. PJ got the crowd fired up and TP put them to sleep. Sold Out Arena actually cleared out quite a bit during TP's set. The 2nd night I think the arena was just over half full at the end.

There was also an All Star band called the Transplants. Totally sounded like total ass. Had Travis from Blink 182 plus a few other really good musicians but together they were complete garbage. I think they played the Warped Tour plus some solo shows. Didn't matter where they played as they really sucked. My buddy was Travis's body guard so he had to sit through every show, and drug us to a bunch of them. Shows sucked but a fun party scene backstage

When I lived in Omaha after college, went to "Rockfest" in Council Bluffs with Kid Rock, Everlast, Buck Cherry, and some other shitty bands. We went there to hang out with sluts and get wasted but subjected ourselves to terrible music. Everlast was OK but Kid Rock did his fake tough guy persona and was a terrible live act as the headliner.

The main thing I remember about that was some fat guy passing out in the porta potty. The event security team had to drag him out and his pants were down with a huge #2 in tow.
It was Council Bluffs. Enough said

During their Drug years Aerosmith was very hit & miss on performances. Depend on their state of mind. I had numerous bands I worked with that was a roll of the dice as to how well they would perform due to drug/alcohol problems.

Yeah Aero played pretty tight gigs up until around 1980 when they flushed themselves down the shitter with addiction...they truly did suck for a while after that.

Boy that is a shitty setlist for Aerosmith.
Gotta disagree my man, with the exception of the tunes that @SoCal_Corn mentioned that set was legit albeit short (a good thing as fucked up as it sounds like they were). 70's Aerosmith was The Shit.
