Ran into a dad of a player I know this morning. Not that this is new news, just said you wouldn’t believe the difference in organization from frost to rhule.

Was almost like kids didn’t realize how unorganized it truly was.

Said all the players are loving it
My bro coached Ernest Hausmann soccer for 6 years. Knows his dad. Can confirm that he was NOT a Scott Frost fan. AT ALL. (contrary to what everyone was saying about why he quit) To your point, said under Frost it was a disorganized cluster and Ernie wanted out of the mess BEFORE Frosty was fired. He has strong desire to go pro and knew he wasn't going to get what he needed under that regime. He didn't get the details of who all they reached out to ahead of time but said that they did give Rhule a shot. Problem was that the new lb coach wasn't very experienced and if you remember he was hired early on and there wasn't a DC yet. So he couldn't answer questions as to scheme etc. They just didn't want to wait and take the risk. that simple.

Sounds like the Rhule part is Hausmann just trying to do damage control when he had already made up his mind to leave and it didn't matter if Rhule hired the best LB coach in America, but that's jmo.

Can confirm the Frost to Rhule, night and day difference. Luke Reimer is dating a basketball girl who is roomies with my daughters. Luke has told them that the difference between Rhule's way and Frost's way is.....

Rhule's way: Development, discipline, accountability, hard work, no cutting corners

Frost's way: Talk about Development, discipline, accountability, hard work, not cutting corners (No fear of failure).

There never was any of this under Frost to the level it is under Rhule.

Luke also told them that 90% of them are absolutely having a great time practicing under these guys and the conditions, standards, and level of accountability they set. Will be interesting to see which ones like it just a little bit more in order to stay on the team.

I think the staff doesn't care about the numbers and will cut dudes if they have to. That's going to be a great conversation between coach and players. "Listen Joe Blow, you've got what it takes to be a star, but you just don't have what it takes to be a star here...now pack yo shit"
