Who's with me?

Following this embarrising performance, I plan on writing Warren Buffett a letter BEGGING him to send a donation to Nebraska Athletics.

If enough people write, he will consider and eventually pay up.

Its the only solution to this mess I can think of. Lets just unite as one and try.

Plan on taking it up the ass in prison.

That’s your future.

To do fucking what? Buy another LT that sucks?
I was thinking about one who's good, like the one who was ranked as the No. 5 overall player in the portal who is now starting for Oregon. Instead we settled for the No. 157 player who got run out of Alabama.

You realize that we’re spending a lot more money than Minnesota, right? I don’t think it’s merely a money issue
Of course it's not a merely a money issue. But better players would certainly help, right?

I don't get the sentiment expressed by some that Friday's loss means we shouldn't try to buy better players in the portal.
Like, "We were all for getting you better players, but now that you fell on your face against the Gophers, we're going to punish you by not helping you get better players."

Him at LT and Prich at RT would’ve been nice but how tf do we have no one else developed who either isn’t ready of painfully below average in year 3?

Another way to look at it-Buffett is master of putting his money in position for the best return. Maybe he hasn't donated yet because that position hasn't presented itself yet. I'm just throwing out there, and I think Rhule if not jumping can get this team to playoffs. But, if true with Warren then maybe he's waiting on who he thinks is a great coach to invest in. More likely he realizes college athletics isn't an investment at all, and only for big time sports fans and people who want their names on bricks.

Personally, I think timing with everything Penn State/ Rhule sucked, and very disappointed in whatever led to the effort in yesterday's game.
Buffett didn't lift a finger to help any of our 3 consecutive coaches who played for national titles.

He does nothing for athletics, and very little for the state. He legitimately gives bigger gifts to the university of Michigan than even Nebraska-Omaha that he went to.

Outside of his UNO gifts, almost none of his money goes to anything in state. It's all going to California organizations and Bill Gates' "charity". NU football won't see a dime of it until it goes through (probably multiple generations of) his beneficiaries.

It’s some sort of booster ego control. Instead of going all in they hold back until they deem it ok I guess. It’s very odd and no other peer program operates like that.

our head coach is a bleeding heart team mom

he is the CEO of the program and can't even bring himself to fire wastes of oxygen like Ed Foley and Marcus Satterfield

we will play like pussies as long as we're led by a pussy

the money and resources are neither here nor there

perhaps we will get another blubbering, tear-soaked postgame presser at some point this season
