I was watching the storm roll in from our slider on the SW side of the house. Could see a wall of wind coming fast. Kids and wife were downstairs. I was headed that way and BOOM. Saw the roof of the deck fly off. Took probably 8 more feet of the roof to the house. It landed probably a 100 yards away in our front yard to the NE.

Water started coming in the house through the cealing and windows on the SW side. Fuck. Got that under control.

And out of all of this. I guess there is always some lighter moment. After the storm passed for the most part. My 3 year old looks at me and says. “Dad, if another storm comes through I’m going to freak out.” Lol.

Most of NWKS was out of power all afternoon but I heard most towns (Selden, Oberlin, Norton) got power back before dark.

MHK was out of power all night, finally got power again at 5:30am
