It could. Talent to compete in the big ten west can be acquired quickly though. Maybe big ten east or big ten title would be an issue, but the division is a gift to any coach who wants to finish his season playing in a game that matters

Otherwise, let's quit fucn around with these mid tier money ball coaches and get someone who's proven and has won a conference championship in a P5 conference. I mean you can't get dabo. I think Turd should probably call all of the obvious people's agents and ask what it'd take, but even among "blue blood" hiring, you see alumni, "up and coming" HC, etc. more often than not.

Doeren is clearly a pretty good coach but I can’t think of a more absolutely mind-numbingly boring hire than him.
