I backed away from Husker boards before Riley was fired so I missed out on a lot of these fun people. I’m not sure what qualifies a potato round these parts, but couldn’t stand the anger or the one-ups-menship when it came to how furious everyone was. Like, being critical of the staff wasn’t good enough. You had to want them becoming homeless or contracting AIDS.

I remember H3 and Sam mainly because they were babies.

I doubt anyone knows my handle here. I’m also not 100% sure what it was back in the day, either, but I think it was Sublime in most places.

It began back during Solich’s last few years and the ESPN board. That place was seemingly the only place out there. I remember a place that had Carl Crawford write ups but don’t remember much interaction. Since ESPN was the only place it returned to the natural internet-state of “awful”. One of the people yanked me off that board and onto another one that was great. Had our share of arguments but not a dumpster fire. That place was pretty private and had decent sources. If anyone was there you’d know me as that’s where I spent most of my time chatting. It still exists in a greatly reduced state (like 8 of us left who barely chat). I was Sublime and then Bigfoot there, and also a mod.

Simultaneously I joined rivals after BC got hired. And was there until Riley’s last year. Pretty sure my handle was Sublime. I probably had less than 1,000 posts there on those however many years. I joined Scout and 247 but was even less active there. Left it the same time as rivals.

I was on NCIU but don’t think it even lasted a year.
