I would be shocked, I mean really shocked if the people in North Stadium have any real respect for Callahan. He likely has made a really good living for himself and good for him. But I am not giving him another dime.

I don't have the outright hatred for him that a lot of people on this site do, but he's definitely cringe, and I think you're right that NU coaches & officials probably feel the same way, and that's probably why he doesn't get the access/scoops that others do.

I guess I try to see the good in people. I even tried to defend him at times because Rivals' national coverage certainly did not help his crew out when it came to recruiting news.

But then he became a shill for all this crap. PFF, Lambrecht etc etc. The actual product that he put out on RSS had really gone down hill. The chats were worthless. His weekly articles 3-2-1 etc etc were worthless. Tunnel Talk was a joke. And at every turn he's defending his staff and making excuses.

He threw such a bitchfit about this parody. He obviously does not have the ability to laugh at himself which is a poor character trait.

Now everyone knows he is NS mouthpiece that will only write "articles" about what NS wants them to write. The defending of ABM was real cringy as everyone knew that it was a dirty business model with a huge conflict of interest.

He is not a real journalist and he is basically just a normal fan of NU that only wants to talk about the good and make excuses for the bad.

But as its been mentioned...the product has gone down hill, and what grinds my gears is the excuse making for criticism. When you get to the point where you're above criticism, as it seems he believes he is, your product inevitably falls. From the constant simple spelling/grammar errors, to the "up all night working hard" or "driving all day," to simple things like letting Mongo post on the front page "OL Blown by Nebraska." Like, for fuck's sake, that's embarrassing, and you get all butthurt when people tell you shit like that's ridiculous.
