I'll head to the scrolls and read Dean's post about how "it came as a surprise and is a huge blow but there was some smoke regarding personal issues and someone told me he was leaving so it wasn't that surprising but there are reasons to be excited for the season which I will share in TT in two weeks and 1-year memberships are on sale for $68.99 for the next two weeks"

I'll be doing a fair bit of drinking to times that never were. As with most highly ranked JUCO transfers, he's been put on a pedestal. Understandably so given his measurables, potential, and our need at the position. And I love Omar's potential to do great things if he stays.

But, as with every other kick to the dick we've taken over the past 20 years, I'll move on. Important to remember that there are a LOT more JUCO guys that turn out to be Greg Bell / Jaron Woodyard types than Lavonte David / Randy Gregory types.

It's all a crapshoot at the end of the day. It seems foolish to me as a grown ass man to let me emotional well-being hinge on the fickle decision making processes of teenage kids. I was dumb as fuck when I was that age and so are these kids.

The talent will come, Omar or Nomar this will be the deepest roster Frost has had to work with since he's been here. The process is underway and I'll strap in and trust it.
