Sign Up Now!Definitely, but not the worst. Reminded me of a sci-fi Lost. What did you think of the ending of 1899. I was a little underwhelmed.
Also, Succession and Mare of Easttown on HBO are both good.I watched "the leftovers" on HBO for the first season and loved it in 2014. I finally had a chance to watch seasons 2-3, and it was awesome. 28 hours of thinking about how people would freak out if 2% of the population suddenly vanished, then in last 10 minutes understanding that it was a split in the timeline.
The timeline in the show is that of a world where 2% of the population suddenly vanished into somewhere. In the alternative timeline, which somehow also exists, 98% vanish to somewhere. The thing that "really happened" was that 2% left one, but were the only ones left behind in the alternate timeline.
At any rate, I'm looking for any recommendations for other shows to watch that are similarly imagining how society would respond if something supernatural or cosmological suddenly fucked up our known system. Sorry for too many words risking TLDR.
Thanks in advance.
I liked that show quite a bit, but nobody seemed to really be talking about it. Amazon does a terrible job of promoting its shows, unless its Lord of the Rings. The last great show I watched was Outer Range on Amazon. Highly recommend.
I thought the last couple episodes dragged. Loved the first few.Give "The Peripheral" a shot on Prime Video. It's been an interesting ride so far.
❤️Silicon Valley
Stupid show yet I watched every episode.Severance on Apple TV+ is an absolute masterpiece and sounds right up your alley.
My wife watches that.If you like history: The Crown
The last great show I watched was Outer Range on Amazon. Highly recommend.
Wood love to start a new stub with her. And only her in that stub. Also whatever her name is....
Severance on Apple TV+ is an absolute masterpiece and sounds right up your alley.
Season 2 and 3 of The Leftovers are legendary. Episode "International Assassin" in season 2 is probably a top 5 episode all time for me.
A newer series which isn’t overplayed is The White Lotus. It’s entertaining.I watched "the leftovers" on HBO for the first season and loved it in 2014. I finally had a chance to watch seasons 2-3, and it was awesome. 28 hours of thinking about how people would freak out if 2% of the population suddenly vanished, then in last 10 minutes understanding that it was a split in the timeline.

NoIs there enough content on Apple TV+ to justify it if I already have Hulu, Prime, Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, and HBOMax? Jeebus, I should consider slimming down that list some.
You should drop Netflix. They haven't had shit worth watching in what feels like yearsThanks for all the recs, boys. Much appreciated.

Agreed. I almost @died in the episode "The most powerful man on the planet (and his identical twin brother)" when the guy on the phone said
"It has to be an identical biometric match. You're the only person on the planet who can enter that door. Unless you have an identical twin brother, which would be ridiculous."
I think HBO puts out the best series. Showtime has also had some pretty solid ones, but HBO is the best. You should drop Netflix. They haven't had shit worth watching in what feels like years
Yeah it's been a while since Netflix has had a really good series. Can't even think of the last one.You should drop Netflix. They haven't had shit worth watching in what feels like years
Prime is pretty good too.I think HBO puts out the best series. Showtime has also had some pretty solid ones, but HBO is the best.
