I don’t think he could handle the SEC.

I can’t imagine the social media hate he would get for his 4th quarter hiccups if he played in the SEC.
I just don't know enough about who will be shopping for QBs in the SEC, but I'd be surprised if he could do better than South Carolina and idk that they'd have $600k enthusiasm for him in the NIL game

peoples ITT saying them boys listed get drafted high or UGA/Bama/LSU/Florida would actually want them to transfer

I expect a lot back for unfinished business. NIL is somewhat of an insurance policy for these mid round guys.

I think Martinez comes back as well. No matter what you think of him, if you take his stats and put him on a 6-0 team, he’s generating at least a little Heisman buzz. 8th in QBR and averaging 314 yards of total offense per game. 19 touchdowns through 7 games.

It’s not that far fetched to think with next years seemingly easier schedule and a little improvement, he could be considered a Heisman candidate.

Bryce Young is into seven figures and he's kinda meh. Martinez could make a fuckton of money at places like Tennessee or Georgia.
I don't see Georgia as a realistic option. Maybe he could swing Tennessee, but for as good as Martinez can be at times, he doesn't win and I don't know how robust of market there would be for him, let alone at a place where clearing $250k in NIL is likely. To be clear, he'd have options likely very good options, but Georgia or any other team with serious title aspirations seems like a bridge too far

He's not in 7 figures. Saban was talking out of his ass and that was debunked.

Well let me clarify, he's not actually earning 7 figures from NIL. He may be getting that under the table like other Bama players, but not thru NIL. He's more in the half a million range.

It will be interesting to see how the booster who paid the HS kid at Ohio State handles that payout going forward. CJ Stroud is going to be the QB at Ohio State for another 1 to 2 years at least. The kid from Texas may not even be 3rd string next season. That will make for a really fascinating dynamic. How will the team handle that internally if a kid who never plays continues to get paid more?
