What do we make of DiNardo's comments about our o-line

I think our O Line will be better than last year. Doesn't hurt when Rhule and the OC are on the same page about calling plays to protect the O Line's weaknesses. Donnie can't be that bad and with the help of Sat, Ed & Rhule I expect our line to be better if it can stay healthy. Definitely need to build some quality depth.

Two of the best indicators of OL success at the college level are 1) age, and 2) experience. We have lots of 22-24 year olds with lots of P5 game snaps. Call me cautiously optimistic that they’ll be a middle of the pack B1G west OL.

If we develop into a heavy gap scheme team with RPOs attached. I think they’ll be alright. I just don’t think these guys are great at IZ and OZ.

Stick with gap, and get great at it IMO.

I think DiNardo would be much more objective in private. He clearly knows what he’s looking at, but he’s endlessly positive during these fall tours. Take everything with a grain of salt.

My issue with him is he’ll praise the team during fall camp, but when a team struggles mid season he says he saw signs of it during fall camp.
