I understand where you are coming from, but I’m getting tired of hearing games labeled as a "must win." Yes, Nebraska has a great opportunity to beat Indiana, even as slight underdogs, but what exactly makes this game a "must win"? Does the season suddenly end if they lose? Sure, it's a great chance for Nebraska to become bowl eligible for the first time in eight years, but calling it a "must win" is over the top. You could argue that every game is a "must win" until the next one...
Loser talk is the worst. We’re trying to make the playoff bud and sitting with 2 losses counting Ohio St. This is most certainly a must win.

Is it ever okay to lose a game?
What do you mean by "okay"?

Do we ever want to lose? No.

Is it healthy or realistic to demand that the team win every game? Also no.

Anyone who has ever played sports at a high enough level understands that losses happen and that team building is a process. You like to see those losses happening less and less frequently and only to better opponents, up until the point where you're reaching your ultimate goals.

I mean shit, are we all gonna freak out if we win this week but then drop a road game to Ohio State next weekend? At this point in the program building process, losses will happen.

In the spirit of Indiana hate week, Parks & Rec was mid.
