He isn't a walk on. He was a scholarship signee at Cockeye. Kid is a really good athlete, and Huskers missed on the kid because of course Frost thought he would be better suited as a Defensive Tackle and not big enough for Nebraska's defense.

He will likely start at least two seasons at Offensive Guard for Cockeye.

Hmm. Before I posted that I saw a source that said he was a grayshirt, a walkon with a promise of a scholly after a semester or so. Of course, I can’t find that now, though I do see other places saying he was a scholarship croot.
