I would have said Quinn Clark. In the open 1890 practice, that kid blocked like no other.

We lose to Cockeye by a field goal and Wisconsin by 30 somehow
Would be good advice for Tony White and his position coaches too. That was refreshing. Tough love and if you can't do it, you won't get the ball. My favorite part was when he thought some of the position coaches might be falling in love with certain kids and not letting others get their chance. He has be giving his input on who should be playing.
All they do in practice is run straight line drills. Like they can’t already do that lolAs it should. Our running backs miss more holes than Stevie Wonder
Preach on tmanLoved the stark but honest presser from Holgs. Exactly what the players, coaches and program needs to hear. RB's and WR's have not been good enough. Hit the damn hole, RB's. Get separationg, WR's. And YES, you need to block downfield.
Don't do that stuff, you won't get the rock.
The main question I would love to ask Holgorsen is if it's talent or coaching. Although my suspicion is it's 50/50Loved the stark but honest presser from Holgs. Hopefully a walkon
I have to say I really liked what he had to say and how he said it. We need someone in charge who isn't emotionally invested in who is playing and has no time for hurt feels. Good god I wish he'd been in charge of the offense from the jump this year.I think he was suggesting the players have the talent, or that he thinks it looks like they have the talent. Like, dude, hit the hole "I shouldn't have to push you in the back of your shoulder pads for you to see the hole", RB's. And blocking on the perimeter - it is so much about effort and want to. Sure, you need to be crisp with your technique, but this is mostly effort based.
Not getting separation on routes could be talent, or it could be lazy route running like lazy blocking. Often times a lot of this is some of both, of course.
IMO, he was more saying it looks like there is talent there, but it is not executing well. Which then leads one to believe that coaching is a definite part of the problem.
Holgs was so upfront with this - let's be realistic - relatively simple stuff that is not being done or executed well, that he seemed dumbfounded that we were 9 games into our season and this is the level of execution we are seeing. A good coach gets players to execute well, or those players don't play. Not every player can or will do that, but the majority can and will with good coaching.
He should never ever ever ever field another punt or kickoffHas IGC seen a single rep at receiver this year? Is he really that bad that he doesn’t rotate in?
Why about a reception from a qb pass? Should he field one of those? He should never ever ever ever field another punt or kickoff
