Dick Dineen was a former neighbor and hockey coach for my son. Pretty strong baseball lineage in his tree IIRC.

Jax was 2nd Team All Big 12 Fullback in 2021. Redshirted last season so has 2 seasons of eligibility left. An extra vicious blocker protecting the QB if our line struggles or he's there blasting open holes for RB's. Kid has good hands and no DB wanting to tackle that load in the open field after catching a pass or on a Fullback Trap.

so $Dean mentioned on his site that he spoke with Jax and also mentioned that he's know them for quite a while. Yet his dad Joe has never met Sean Callahan when I asked him tonight if he knew $Dean. Ironic as we tried getting $Dean and his crew to cover Joe Dineen Jr when he was a 3 Star recruit. Couldn't get much love from him. Pelini had no interest in Joe Jr who was signed with KU as a Linebacker but played as a true Freshman at QB & RB due to injuries to starters. Quite the athlete. Went on to become an All American Linebacker for KU then was briefly with the Denver Broncos & Jacksonville Jaguars. He is currently the new Linebackers coach for Purdue.

Purdue isn't going to use a FB in their offense so not a landing spot.
