I think Rhule put together a nice mix of youth and some veterans. Let's be honest the staff Frost brought with him to Nebraska had 1 maybe 2 coaches that would have been considered for position coaching openings in the B1G. We should be hiring some coaches who are qualified plus respected enough to be considered for open positions at schools like Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn St..... From Frost's staff Fischer and maybe Walters, but as a WR Coach not an OC, could get B1G interviews. Maybe Beckton. Rhule brought in 2 experienced Coordinators who came in from Power5 programs (Satterfield & White) who would probably get interviews with B1G schools that had an opening. Then you have Foley & Cooper with Power5 experience at Baylor plus NFL with Carolina. Bartel appears to be on the coaching fast track and was already a Recruiting Coordinator for Penn St. Wager was offered a coaching position at Texas Tech but turned it down last year. I still consider Raiola a bit of an underexperienced coach even though he has 1 yr Power5. Then you have the 3 pups in Knighton, McGuirre & Dovarek.
Frost brought in more FCS coaches where as even Rhule's younger less experience coaches were with him at 1 or 2 of his previous stops. With Rhule's successful track record of developing young coaches I see now reason for me to question him. Plus the support staff he has put together behind the scene's is like nothing we have seen before in Lincoln, and sounds like he might be adding more to it.
