Vegas

If you’re a golfer, hit up the Top Golf off of the strip.

Also hit up the big ass walk in mall that is modeled after Italy.

Uber to Fremont street and spend a good amount of time there. Hit up Circa and check out the longest bar and sports bowl for betting.

Near Fremont, walk to the Mafia museum and hit up the speakeasy underneath it.

Off of Fremont, there are a few stores with a bunch of antique toys and then a fun bar called The Nerd where you can play games and get some interesting photos in.

Uber from Fremont to Zac Bagans Most Haunted Museum. You’re not allowed to take photos inside, but some of the stories and items in that museum, damn.
Love it, thank you!

Love Vegas. Try to get in at least one nice meal if you're not there to gamble. Higher concentration of great hospitality and dining there than anywhere but NY/LA imo and it's worth the premium. Same goes for the drinks. Most of the high end casinos are full of great bartenders.

Craftsteak and Morimoto are my two favorites

I go to Vegas with a few buddies from grade school every year. They like spending as little money as possible so we stay at the Luxor and wander around from there. So if you need cheapish food recommendationa near Luxor I got you.

@Pipe Line just don't go during September cause he'll totally big time you and never meet up with you. Never forgiven him for that.

I’ve never stayed there but I’ve heard it’s an absolute shit hole of a hotel. I’ve been to Vegas quite a few times and my favorite hotel is the Cosmo but it’s far from cheap

Yeah we are going again in July and the cheapest room at Luxor is $27/night. I convinced them to try the “Tower” rooms this time which are supposedly nicer

lol good news is that's right at the beginning of the school year and the wife doesn't like to take trips during the school year

Fantastic trip. Was everything I hoped it would be, and also more than I expected. Stayed 3 full days. 2 full days would have been perfect, just got tired on the last day and was ready to come home.
I think 2 days is probably the right amount of time to go

Was all the advice helpful?

I'm glad I got my multiple trips to Vegas out of my system ( last time being right before the pandemic ) ... These days, I have no desire to vacation there anymore.

If it's your first time in Vegas, focus more on the strip than Fremont. That said, I much prefer the relaxed vibe on Fremont .. but to each their own. If you're looking to get out of Vegas for a few hours and have some adventure, the Zipline in Boulder City is an awesome experience ..
