Breaking USC & UCLAbia Joining BIG 10

I think Notre Dame would also get an exception as the only church-affiliated school that the Big Ten presidents would allow. I've seen some suggest Baylor and TCU as possibilities, just to get a presence in Texas, but I really don't see that happening.

I think Clemson is screwed either way. Dabo isn’t playing the NIL game and he lost great assistants. If and when Clemson joins the sec he isn’t going to keep it going at the level he has been.
Clemson has the #4 recruiting class right now with a 5 star Qb committed. Also signed a top 10 class and 5 star QB last year. Dabo says he isn’t playing the NIL game but i think that’s BS. How are they still recruiting so well if that’s the case?

Dabo sells the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ which is far more valuable than money

OU was also signing those types of classes, but Riley saw the writing on the wall. He was probably going to field 8-4 type teams in the SEC. I see the same thing happening to Clemson if and when they join. I could very well be wrong about Dabo, but a big part of his stability has been keeping his coaching staff together and he lost some very good coaches. He also won’t have as many gimme games in the sec where Clemson can just show up and sleepwalk through.

Agree with all the above. He caught lightning in a bottle with generational type QB’s too (Deshaun Watson, Trevor Lawrence)

Not gonna be as easy for him to build USC up in the Big Ten as it is as for him to just take the keys to the Porsche that he was handed by Bob Stoops

I think Riley has a better chance to succeed at USC. Going to the BIG is going to be more difficult than staying in the pac 12, but I can see him taking recruiting to another level being at USC than what he was doing at OU. I’m also not sold Riley is going to do what Pete Carroll did, but I think he will do well at USC.

My point is that I don’t think him rebuilding USC is going to be as easy or as much of a slam dunk as people think.

I think will do just fine. He is going to get some of the best talent in the country, and he is a proven coach offensively. I don’t know if he will win championships the way college football is going, but he will field teams you don’t want to play. Time will tell though. There isn’t really a slam dunk winning wise outside urb and Saban.
