Don't have much confidence. We looked flat as hell coming out of the tunnel walk. The players half jogged onto the field. I was concerned right away on seeing that. The energy looked real low, which is always a real bad sign. We need to approach every game like we did the CU game this year. Not just a one-off nut-up effort, it has to be consistent like that.

Our team seems to be somewhat bipolar, though. We got our asses kicked by IU, then the next game we play basically even with OSU most of the game. Then today we look like dogshit against a 2 and 5 (now 3 and 5) team. UCLA's losses were mostly to better teams though, so they were probably better than we thought they would be. Still no acceptable that our many multiple schematic, execution and coaching/coordinator issues are not at least improving some.

The biggest thing is - we are regressing as the season unfolds yet again. UCLA is getting better. Most teams are getting better with more games played. Typical NU style we are floundering and getting worse. We have the losers disease (players mindset that they expect to lose), but also we have now had multiple coaching staffs that have teams that always get worse as the season gets older. Same old, same old. And going on 10+ years now of this crap. Unacceptable, but there it is - it's happening again.
