There is something deeply disturbing with this team. Our fans are fatigued. I was at the game, and those guys were flat. How can that be? One game away from a bowl…at home…against a subpar team.
How can we even talk about beating USC when Lincoln Riley has beaten us every time we have faced him.

Kinda ironic, as Fred put out 2 of the worst ever seasons of Husker basketball his first 2 years here, with a team that had no identity and looked hopeless. Then 2 more years floundering before finally looking coherent year 5.

Fred has wins over #1 and #6…and several road wins over ranked opponents. He was horrible his first 3 years, but has found his sweetspot of roster, staff, and scheme to make it work in the BIG. We can only hope Rhule does the same.

I hate to be Debbie Downer and I realize that USC sucks, but Nebraska has been everyone's "get right" game for over a decade now. If you need to get your season back on track just wait until Nebraska is on the schedule. I'm absolutely sure Wisconsin knows this and can't wait and Cockeye is comfortable in that beating us will save their entire season as well.
