Since they raised the minimum wage to $15 to include waitresses out here in VA, some restaurants are keeping a portion of the waitresses tips to offset some of the additional costs and other BS. So now, waitresses are silently leaving their Venmo info behind while patrons are not leaving tips.
As for OP and your situation, you can donate a portion of my annual subscription fee to the garbage man so he doesn't forget to collect your trash or leave a flaming bag of poo on your doorstep.

I have legit the best trash guys. If we forget to take our trash out, they walk up and get it, they have taken a love seat and various shit from house projects that doesn’t fit.
I would still get vindictive if they pulled some shit like that.

When I lived in Lincoln my trash guys would walk up to my house and grab the can if I forgot to put it out. I’d tip for that.

Right there with you. Our trash service is awesome. They walk it up to my garage after they empty it and if they're outside near your garage they'll check if it needs emptied.

Also in northeast Lincoln but have havelock/carter. They're also great about taking shit they're probably not supposed to. I leave a 12 pack with a $20 in it as a tip around the holidays

I’ve never even seen our garbage men. Come middle of the day on Tuesdays when I’m at work and they basically never get out of the truck to empty the bins (truck has those automated arms).

mine don't ever even get out of the truck now that they have that arm that grabs and dumps the bin... If it isn't close enough to the street or isn't positioned correctly, they drive right by.
