Well, more my question is if we are holding a practice in Lincoln with all 10 of our full-time assistants coaches at that practice, could a guy like Benning or Busch be on the road recruiting at the same time? i.e. at practices for Millard South, Omaha North, etc.?The cap is on the number of coaches who can recruit off-campus. But I imagine the other coaches can still 'scout' guys off-campus.
A college/high school burner getting blocked. The horrorWhat the fuck
The geep wade burner is a hs kid?A college/high school burner getting blocked. The horror
It's only for a summer and a semester. He'll be fine.If that nugget is true, why don’t they team up at some Lincoln high school? Trae (and possibly others) are going to waste a looot of time commuting from Lincoln to Millard daily when he says he’s doing this to be around the Huskers in Lincoln more.
I don't think MS would want Benning at their practices...Well, more my question is if we are holding a practice in Lincoln with all 10 of our full-time assistants coaches at that practice, could a guy like Benning or Busch be on the road recruiting at the same time? i.e. at practices for Millard South, Omaha North, etc.?
At this point, you have to get into Millard South for your recruiting. And you can't have happen in Nebraska recruiting like what just transpired in 2026. Nebraska had the 101st ranked class according to On3, and they also had the 101st ranked class based on average star ranking, so the people saying it was quantity based are not correct.Probably because of the talent disparity. We’ve seen more kids come up through the Omaha area and go D1 out of state.
This really feels like a 5D chess move. Like @ShortSideOption said earlier, this feels like an olive branch extension to what should be out #1 feeder program in the state.
No they wouldn't but I hope you get what I'm saying.I don't think MS would want Benning at their practices...
Not a chance...unless their knee pads are too high or they have too many arm bands on.Come on NSAA have a backbone.
In On3 we were 101st in "Score", which is influenced by number of recruits. but in average ranking, we were 43rd (you have to sort by average ranking and count down the list). Not great, but vastly better than 101stAt this point, you have to get into Millard South for your recruiting. And you can't have happen in Nebraska recruiting like what just transpired in 2026. The other thing to consider is Millard South is now playing a national schedule against other out of state powers. That’s something no Lincoln schools can offer.
I do.No they wouldn't but I hope you get what I'm saying.
Could a handful of national level recruits change that? Imagine the hype around the Millard South and Junior Huskers game.I think they also want an almost guaranteed state championship as well. No Lincoln team can offer that.
No they’re not. Last year they played one out-of-state school. I haven't seen anything announced about 2026, but I would guess they are not playing more than one out-of-state team, if that. The other thing to consider is Millard South is now playing a national schedule against other out of state powers.
