Right, but are they referring to Rittenhouse pointing the rifle after Rosenbaum throws the bag of shit at him? Did he fire at that point? I couldn't tell if he turned and fired after that thing was thrown at him or if he turned to see what happened (may have had sights on Rosenabaum, can't tell), fled, then shot Rosenbaum when he closed distance.There's actually pretty good drone footage that was shown by the prosecution in closing arguments. That's the whole thing w/ the mistrial motion. The Rosenbaum mental illness stuff, while good lawyering, to me is just bait to the jury in a self-defense because Rittenhouse didn't know about it. If he testified that he knew Rosenbaum's bipolar background, maybe it's a factor, but doesn't matter for the actual facts of the case.
The backgrounds of the individuals involved only matters/or doesn't if you're the defendant seemingly. I think the fact that the guy was acting aggressively and had a history of violence is relevant, personally. That isn't the case legally it seems.
