LOL.... that's hilarious.

But I still feel that way, even after we won by 3 TD's. This product is subpar, and it starts at the top. We struggled to beat an FCS team at home. Get a real proven winner as head coach. Be willing to pay for a guy of that level. I don't see us digging out of this otherwise, it'll be the same cyclical thing we've been going through with coaching staffs. And that cycle is circling the drain - we are damn near at the bottom now. Time to flush it and get some proven head coach talent in house.

And it's not personal FWIW about Frost. I thought he had coaching chops back when he won some assistant coaching award when he was at Oregon. I remember his speech accepting the award and thought "this guy has the chops, charisma, and could be a successful head coach for us down the line" from how he sounded and handled himself accepting the award. And then after his magical season at UCF, things all seemed to line up.

But it hasn't worked out at all. I was stoked we hired him, thought he would turn things around, but since the fated lightning gate cancelled game 1, it has almost all gone terribly. I think Frost is caught in a negative, self-fulfilling, high-pressure cycle in a fish bowl program/state (which pretty much what NU football is in Nebraska) and, which is of course much of his own doing, but it is all but impossible for a coach to recover from so much losing and what goes with it. It is like an avalanche that one can't stop at this point.

To be fair, there’s a gap between our coach being MAGA / Alt Righr is used successfully against us in recruiting and a player chose another program because of our coaches political beliefs.

Recruiting decisions involve a lot of factors, I 100% believe other coaches bring it up and I 100% believe it has some impact on 18 year olds who don’t lean that way politically, even if it’s just thrown into the mix
