That said. There’s also people who are going to be turned off by that and if I were an opposing coach given the current climate I would absolutely highlight it.

The question is probably are there more of the former or the latter.

People can obviously believe whatever they want, but they can’t control how others feel about them as a result.

It seems pretty obvious to me that the politics don't really matter if you have a good relationship with your players. When you're ass flavored ass with ass filling as a head coach, it matters whether you roll the tp over the roll in the bathroom or under the roll

I heard he only plays country music at practice, but when I saw clips of practice it definitely wasn’t country music. Do you feel persecuted for being MAGA or something? Your performance in this thread is very snowflake esque.

No one says he’s pushing an agenda - him holding certain beliefs could turn players who don’t hold those beliefs off, especially in light of the current political climate. It’s not complicated.
