FYI mid summer work outs have indicated.........

• Weaver is a fucking man. He makes Ty look small
• Neville is a WR who last year would have had playing time. This year I suspect him to be a 4 game guy.
• Teddy is a special talent. Wouldn't shock me if next year he forces Turner to be an OG.
• Kpai and Bretz are catching attention.

All of the guys I have mentioned are guys I was told have the potential to be very "special."

No clue.... if I had to handicap it I would put it........

30% Cook
60% field
10% Klassy

I think if this goes longer than July 15th you can pretty much take Klassy's % and put it behind Cook.

Also, this isn't inside info. This is my take on it based on what I have heard from conversations, reports, etc...

We have done a really good job of recruiting LBs the last 2 classes. I am very very very excieted to see them develop.

Man I don't know. I was talking to my guy and he is higher on Yant than I am.

I am hopeful that our medical department found the true problem behind the Stepp injuries.

I think we will have 1 guy who will average 15 ish + carries then 2 that get 15 between the two. Martinez gets 10 and that gets us to 40 carries a game which is a magic number under Frost.

Stepp is a ahead of schedule from what I was told.

The summer work out are huge for this group IMO. Sevy needs to make up a year of S&C. Yant burns too hot to be an every down back. Stepp needs to make up spring work outs.

Gun to my left nut, I am probably taking Stepp, Scott and Ervin as my top 3 backs with Yant as a situational guy.

This is JMO, but he will coach in 2022 unless this year blows up. Like 2-10 bad.

It needs to be so obvious that he needs to go in order to pull the trigger.

I think this is a big reason why the AD gig isn't a slam dunk. DONU's AD gig is a top 20(maybe better) gig based on what we are willing to pay and the resources the AD has, but nobody wants to be the AD that has to fire the golden boy Scott Frost.

Yeah. This AD job is a weird position right now cause I think we’re 8-4 this year and then the AD is kind of in wait and see how it goes mode and worries about other things.

follow up, is/would/will Scott be consulted on who he would feel comfortable with as AD?
