Suck it sc!

Tony's only leaving for a P5 HC job. Might get more than one more year out of him depending on what opens. SDSU would have been perfect for him and I don't see him taking a lesser job.

A lot of the west coast coaches are locked up for the forseeable future. Feels like Arizona is the only place he could land next year and they'll probably have a lot of good candidates if Fisch leaves

I’m also excited we actually have to fight for a coach to stay for once instead of turning them all into goodwill at the end of their contract
Exactly. We’ve been the biggest black hole for coaches and 4 star recruits by a very wide margin for a long time. Could the tide finally be turning?

Nah it’s just The Simulation™ trying to give us hope.

SDSU is in a lib state so that would never work.

Arizona - that’s an interesting one! Would he live in a swing state?

If he keeps restructuring for a 60% raise every year he may not need a head coaching job.

2024: $1.6M
2025: $2.56M
2026: $4.1M
2027: $6.56M
2028: $10.5M
2029: $16.8M
2030: $26.9M
2035: $282M
2040: $2.95B

Be smart, Tony. Play the long game.

I used to love when a coach got fired and moved out of Lincoln.
Head over to the wilderness ridge, hit up the garage sale the wife is having and get tons of cheap Nebraska gear

Nebraska once again had the best defense in history in 2035, even better than the 2034 defense which previously held that title, by allowing only 3 yards of total offense all season. All three yards came on one play when linebacker chuck steak sacked the qb so hard he fumble and died (at the time of this article it is still unknown if he died or fumbled first) after which the offense recovered the ball for a 3 yard gain as the rest of the defense piled onto the (dead) body of the qb like a school of piranhas.

While working with White at Syracuse, my brother in law and everybody else thought he would only leave there for a HC job (my brother in law was hoping to go with him and be a part of his staff, so maybe wishful thinking). They were pretty shocked when he didn't take a HC job last year cycle. He's pretty well thought of guy. Probably the best assistant hire Nebraska has made since maybe when they hired Pelini as DC?

But we get 8-9 months of hope this way...
