On the broadcast they had a graphic for the panel's predictions before the 3 pt contest and I was like "this is lame, all 4 are going to pick Keisei OBVIOUSLY" and then they showed the graphic and none of the 4 broadcasters picked Keisei to win (LOL). 🤔

If you watched any CBB this year you would have picked Tominaga. The guys loves the showmanship. The lead PbP guy initially had trouble saying the name Keisei - I don't think he knew who KT was before tonight.

Nebrasketball has a little ways to go in other words.

They wanted to suck off gholke pretty bad. But wasn’t his whole thing he never stands still while shooting and hard? Didn’t seem like his type of event

I found that majorly annoying. I'm not a huge CBB fan but my sense is there are real regional biases.....like ACC people like Jay Bilas don't watch a lot of B1G hoops etc. I got the sense that none of the 4 commentators had seen Keisei play all year.

It's funny bc in the B1G bubble, Keisei was like Elvis for the past 2 seasons. But when you go national you get a broadcast like this where you got 4 "experts" and none of them have heard of the guy.

I just found that interesting. (And it grinds my gears)

I understand people picking Boo Bouie and Battle. Both are better pure players than Tominaga. But also this is the type of shit Tominaga thrives in. I honestly have had him at 0.00% chance of making an NBA roster. I hope I'm wrong. I just think it's a massive red flag any time he'd be in - the other 6'2" guard opposite him would just call a clear out every time and take him to the rim.

One thing that would be cool is if an NBA team signs him just for the jersey sales in Japan. I would have no problem with that. I just don't see NBA teams doing that though.
