When I was 16 I got my arm twisted in a PTO shaft. Glove got caught on the break away bolt and wrapped my arm around it to the point it pulled my arm out of my shoulder socket. Luckily, my dad was turning off the PTO right before this happened so the injuries weren't as bad as thy would have been. 84 stitches from my fingers to the middle of my forearm. Torn motor nerves, ligaments and muscle. It was a very unpleasant sight looking down at your arm and you could literally see all bones, ligaments and muscles torn up. Took a lot of physical therapy to get all my movement back, but I still don't have feeling in the top of my hand. Just lucky to have my arm!
