I tore my Labia so bad (320 degree tear) that for about 6 years I was able to dislocate my shoulder with very little effort.

It’s not like it looks in Lethal Weapon… it fucking hurts and sucks every time. Not a party trick.

Only positive about the surgery and rehab was at least it was my left shoulder so I could still use my dominant hand.

Either of you guys have it on your dominant hand? That would be my nightmare. (Can’t Write, type, jerk off, etc)
Not a shoulder injury, but slipped on a slick patch in a power rack while walking back to rerack a loaded squat bar. Plates on one side all came down on one hand and exploded one finger on my dominant hand pretty good. Was an absolute pain in the ass to do anything for weeks.

I've wrecked all kinds of things on my body. When ya go fast and run into things bad stuff happens. Spent well over 2.5 years in physical therapy for a variety of injuries.

- Snowmobile Accident - Tibia Plateau Fracture with a Grade 2/3 ACL &U MCL Tears. If the break was another 1/4 inch over and the doctor said he would have probably put a rod in my leg and I might have needed a cane to walk the rest of my life.

- Lacrosse - Fractured shin bone from getting smashed in the shin while running full speed by a Wooden Long Stick. Hurt like hell and looked like I had a Grapefruit on my shin. I tried getting up to fight him as it was an obvious cheap shot. Couldn't put any weight on the leg cuz I couldn't feel my lower leg. Literally can still touch that spot all these years later and it sends pain up my leg. Can feel the indention in the bone.

- Wrist Colles Fracture - Shattered my wrist Snowboarding. Pushed both forearm bones through the heads of the wrist like a hot stick going through a Marshmallow. Was kinda ugly but luckily had one of the best wrist guys in the world working on me. Doctor said I was extremely lucky because I had a Swiss Army Watch on which had a big thick Velcro Wrist Band Strap that helped prevent the bones from going compound.

Was drunk one night at like 2am and was getting out of my buddy's vehicle (SUV) and he thought I was clear even though I was only half way out(no idea)...he basically rolls over my whole foot and completely shatters most of my metatarsals. Like a dumbass drunkard, I think my foot is fine just bruised up lol...I fall asleep and wake up like 2 hours later to alarming pain and my foot looking like a nice, ripe cantaloupe. I get in my car and drive(had a 6 speed manual at the time... clutching with a shattered foot) 2 blocks to the urgent care. Needless to say I had to get 3 surgeries and a bunch of physical therapy...and I basically can't run long distances anymore. Fun.

I tore my hamstring at district track my Jr year of high school. Was about 60M into the 100M and it just popped. I still qualified for the final but was unable to run.

I fucked up my other hamstring senior year and was out the whole year until districts. Obviously I was out of shape by that time and came in like 6th.

Both still piss me off to this day.

Concussions from football, several little ones and 2 major ones which put me in the hospital for a nights stay, the last ultimately lead to end my college career.

New helmet technology back at football and tore my ACL/PCL/MCL and had a large chunk of meniscus removed in 2009.

Pancreatitis in 2021 I wouldn't say necessarily an injury, but it knocked me out like one. Worst pain in my life and oxy + fentanyl barely subsided the pain needed a few doses of morphine and fentanyl. It happened the week I was supposed to compete in nationals in powerlifting in San Antonio. I would have won open 198 weight class and easily set 3 35+ national records based off training. Never did find out what causes it. Leading thought by docs was the night before I had horrible heartburn which I drank a ton of pepto bismol and ate a lot of tums. Too much calcium lead to it.

Currently, still rehabbing torn bicep tendon deadlifting. It was 2 weeks from powerlifting meet where an all-time world record for 40+ was within reach on a good meet. Only injury I've suffered in the gym after 25+ years. Surgery was 11 weeks ago today. Fully healed and about 75-85% of strength regained. Deadlifted a post op PR of 525 yesterday.

Playing indoor soccer in the winter after my freshman year. I was being a moron and playing on the field (I’m a goalkeeper by trade). I was shoulder to shoulder with this guy, as he went to shoot the ball I reached out with my right foot that was closest to him. I ended up blocking the shot very well. What ended up happening was the ball was underneath my foot. My foot didn’t come down straight. It twisted to the side and all of my weight came straight down on my ankle. Severe sprain. It’s still bigger than my left one to this day and doesn’t have the same range of motion.

Feb 19, 2006….I was the passenger in a Ford Taurus when a Chevy Tahoe T-Boned my side right where the door meets the front panel. This was on 56th & Vine in Lincoln at 1am. I was ejected and ultimately wound up somewhere next to a house laying in the snow for about a half hour (I was told). Didn’t wake up until I was in the ambulance. Cut my scalp to the skull on my forehead, puncture wound on my thigh, ribs rubbed the concrete and when it dried you could see where each rib pressed the skin to the concrete. Kinda like seeing where a dinosaur took a bite outta something exposing it’s ribs. Messed up my L4 & L5 and to this day my back always hurts all the time. Tore a meniscus in my left knee. All in all I got lucky.

Once broke 3 toes as a kid when I collided with a friend on our bikes. We had the old school metal pedals and I was wearing flip flops. My toes got smashed between them.D205BCF9-D0C5-4378-9A5D-5AFD138C3BBD.jpeg

Only had broken bones once. It was the day we were running the mile in PE class in 6th or 7th grade. One asshole tripped me as were starting. I fell forward, and my hands hit the ground hard. Another asshole took the opportunity to stomp on my hand as he passed me. Had a few broken fingers.

Had 3 concussions before I was 18: one BMX stunt accident, two during HS football. The concussions were the worst because it ended my senior FB season after #2.

As an adult, tore my knee snowboarding in Tahoe about 10 years ago.

I really haven't had any major injuries. Never broke a bone. Have only had stitches once. I'm pretty much Bruce Willis in Unbreakable.
Same. I once had to get staples in my head though. I was like 4 or 5 and was trying to watch the nude part in Caddyshack. My sisters caught me and chased me under our fireplace. I lifted my head up real quick and cracked it open pretty good and bled al over the place. Luckily dad is a doctor and loves his staple gun so he shot me up.

The rotator cuff tear was on my dominant side and sucked bad

I got my feelings hurt pretty bad one time but other than that...I tore my Achilles playing basketball about 7 years ago at 44 years young. Haven't played since. Devastating at any age, let alone 44. Changed the way I walked, tore my meniscus and had another surgery.

Still run 20 miles a week so i got that going for me....

I thought only women had labrums....

Was trying to set the edge on a block, guy made a move outside me and my whole body rotated except my cleat that planted in the ground.

Completely tore my patella tendon and meniscus in one shot. My knee cap was floating around damn near on the underside of my leg.

Long fucking year+ of recovery and my orthopedic surgeon told me in all likelihood I'll have to have my knee replaced before I'm 40.
How old are you now and how is the knee?
