It should be an all-time no brainer to roll with Haarberg again this week. However, I hate to say it but we will probably need Sims later this season with a short leash. We need his explosiveness to have any shot against Michigan and probably Cockeye and Wiscy too. Unfortunately, he's one of the few physically gifted offensive players we have.

Go with Haarberg, but keep a package for a healthy Sims because we can't run Haarberg 21 times against Michigan, Wisky, and Cockeye, and keep him upright and we aren't deep or talented enough at running back to run straight at conference foes.

Ervin really doesn’t appear to understand what we want out of him in running behind a zone scheme. He leaves a ton of yardage on the field and he makes his OL look bad on plays that are blocked well for him.
I was yelling “CUT IT INSIDE/OUTSIDE” more than a few times last night.

Guy has zero vision.

Our biggest positive is 4 of our next 6 are at home, and UM is the only one of those opponents we can't beat.

LA Tech should be our easiest game of the year, Northwestern is a tire fire, Purdue is at least a 50/50 game, @Illinois has looked terrible, and @MSU is lifeless. Despite our limitations on offense, we have a good shot to go 5-1 over that stretch.

Steal 1 of the last 3 and we have a solid year 1 rebuild.

The simulation got you that easy...

It was great to see a win, and it was even better to see a local kid play out his dream but there was nothing about HH that had me saying wow if this kid can develop a little he's going to be dangerous. He's a TE playing QB.

If he can execute like he did last night and our defense continues to play well, we'll be in damn near every game this year but every game is going to be a fucking grind. 1 or 2 turnovers and it will be too big of a hill to climb.

Sims might have more upside but this isn't a team built to play from behind. I bet Sims gets the start next week, one turnover, and HH is back in.

I think if AG doesn't recatch his fumblitis, and HH continues to take what the other team gives us, we can probably get to 24-28 ppg in conference. Combine that with our defense, we should be able to get 4-6 conference wins plus La Tech. I'm gonna go with 10-3 with a 17-14 loss to OSU in the conference title game. We upset Penix and Washington in the Rose Bowl 27-23. A solid first year for Rhule.
