Ted Carter Shits Bed - OSU Commencement Debacle

It was god awful. Guy spent aout 5 minutes promoting and basically trying to sell bit coin. a bunch of shitty "crowd" work etc.

The valedictorian at our local high school finished his speech Sunday with, “now that I have my diploma I can say whatever I want—remember Jesus was black, Nixon didn’t do it, and 9/11 was an inside job by the government.”
Arrested Development Reaction GIF by MOODMAN

The guy who gave the speech was obviously unstable, but the point he was making wasn't wrong. I actually kind of liked it...he didn't give the typical schtick about "go out and make the world a better place." He gave practical advice.

He came out after and admitted he wrote the speech under the influence of psychedelics. Personally, would rather sit through that at a graduation commencement than the same old bullshit everyone else goes with.

100%. He may have been kooky, but it was memorable.

I mean, he had a lot of points, such as singing being a replacement for anti-depressants.

And if the karaoke version of What’s Going On? that he attempted to lead the crowd in is any indication, that is false.

But nobody in the crowd committed suicide, which I hear is a rarity in Ohio.
