I remember the last time we signed a recruit who isn't white
Good to see Coop is on tPB.yes
"I think there's going to be more of a defensive side start to things," he said. "Coach Cooper played a big role in me being offered. He's trying to bring back the white defensive backs is what he told me. He's pretty cool. I think it'll be a defensive start because they said they have some guys coming it at receiver. I don't think that door is closed, but defensive back is more where I fit."

Schaefer thinks it was more of a joke based on peoples reactions to Cooper DeJean
His coach was just in Lincoln too -same HS that Rex Gutherie went too
And I don’t want to sound racist. But there could be a possibility of these 4 guys playing in the secondary at the same time?Just so I’m on the same page here. Nebraska now has 3 3star white “athletes” slated to play defensive back?
What’s rhules buyout?
I'm just waiting for Rhule to tell Cooper he can't have 25 DBs on scholarship and still want more.Just so I’m on the same page here. Nebraska now has 3 3star white “athletes” slated to play defensive back?

I'm going to guess it's even more $ than that. If the NIL deals are equivalent to the same as what a scholarship player gets it's probably closer to 50k - 75k or even more.On the topic of the whites.
Rhule mentioned something along the lines of 10 nilerships not long ago right?
If out of state tuition (with room and board and food) is 28k that would equal 280k for those 10 spots. Maybe a little less if there are some instate guys. Is that really the best use of funds for roster spots 86-95?
Wouldn’t it be better to use 280k to buy a bigger name?
Deion is in walking distance of his high school and can't make it cause the #Beetusfootdon't know shit about this kid but Deion isn't even trying to keep kids home, it's a total free for all. Smart to hit colorado hard.
I've been saying the same thing in the recruiting thread. In the 25 and 26 classes they have only offered one in each class from Colorado and one of them is from Boulder. The 24 class had several, I'm assuming most from the previous staff and none of them ended up at CU.don't know shit about this kid but Deion isn't even trying to keep kids home, it's a total free for all. Smart to hit colorado hard.
In state is about 25k. Out of state gotta be more than that.If out of state tuition (with room and board and food) is 28k
Is that just tuition no books or room and board? In state is about 25k. Out of state gotta be more than that.
