Stock Market/Investing/Day Trading/Speculative Trading Thread

Oh Yeah Flirt GIF by Wahala Room

The white house confirmed a 104% tariff on China, and the market fell. shocking
“Man jumped off third story window and broke both legs. Shocking.”

My proprietary algorithm has it at a 23% chance of happening.
We already pulled clients out of the stock market and into tbills and short term bonds so I wouldn’t mind it. Licking my chops at the moment. People who rely on money mangers are scared to death right now which is probably half of this thread.

I assume most of the posters in this thread are exposed to the market primarily via a 401k. If so, your strategy should not changed. Max out your 401k (23k per year) - tie most of it to the S&P 500 and you will retire a multimillionaire

You're probably right, and I couldn't agree more, averaging down is key in times like these regarding 401k.

I am no expert but I plan to continue to dump money into my 401K with the company match, continue to put money in each month to my roth and also keep socking money away into my emergency saving fund. I figure shit will buff out when I retire in my 60's or die before I see any of it and my family reaps the rewards.
