NASDAQ is now in the red year to date. How's things looking here? My YTD looks good, defensive sectors doing alright. But then when I back up a month and look at how I did in December, well, not so much. 😅

You're not going to have global growth among the NASDAQ. I would be pretty wary of any company that relies on device growth for long-term upsell expansion as AI is a real headwind there.

I'm just resigned to the fact that it will be a bad year. I'll be looking for buying opportunities and waiting this all out. We're all going to take a haircut for the coming year(s).

Seems like decomposition on trade effects, so probably not actually negative (unless we actually get Canada/Mexico tariffs)...but the consumption components are not looking ideal. Savings rate moving...
