By all accounts I've heard, the offense is Whipple's passing scheme plus Frost's running scheme. I remember Thompson saying that's what he was studying on film just after he announced his transfer.

However I don't think we are bad enough to do a 4-8 with this schedule. I think that's just nuts. I also don't think Mandel realizes how much $$$ our NIL team spent on improving the roster. Mathis, Omar Brown, Tommi Hill, Thompson, Purdy, Palmer... not to mention Anthony Grant and Ajay Allen.

I don't think Mandel realizes that our boosters probably spent $2-3m upgrading this roster. No one in the West really did this. I'm all for the 4-8 but that's not realistic with the talent level there. Even for the biggest Frost haters.

I think more schools than 8-10 can withstand a few key injuries and do better than 4-8. Two to three teams in the west could do better than 4-8 with some key injuries.
