Nebraska isn’t playing for the cfbp next year. A good/great special teams might get Nebraska to 8-9 wins of everything else improves.
Oh no it might be a 6-8 win season instead! It’s all the fucking same. Recruits and portal whores don’t give a fuck if Nebraska wins 6 or 8 games. They still view Nebraska as a program with a good amount of money in NIL, but they also suck.
In the laundry list of issues this is a zit on the programs ass crack. Won’t even register as a problem

Maybe the next special teams coach can teach Barney how not to fumble punts or return kickoffs from the endzone.
Feels like were forgetting how truly awful the special teams units were before Ekeler arrived lol. Those coordinators could single handedly lose you 1-3 games a year. Bigger deal than we think imo.

There’s zero reason to pay attention to the football program right now. It won’t bring anyone happiness

Personally, everytime I think we’ve hit it and the program seems to show glimmers of hope and maybe be turning around, I’m again made aware that it’s fools gold and there is no hope, fuck everything, GBR. We need a majority to say fuck this program before I believe we will truly hit it. I’d rather avoid that but I kinda think that’s where we are.
I’ve said it before. Nebraska needs to die before it comes back.
There’s a reason kids growing up in Nebraska are rooting for Nebraska less and less. The program isn’t fun or attractive. And the team sucks ass on top of it.
People need to get over tradition, how a program is supposed to be ran and operated, you need boosters to stay out of the program. Former players need to be told to fuck off from input. Etc.
