Do you guys think John Hohl is good enough going forward? I don't. I think Nebraska is going to miss out on another shot to bring in a high level kicker.

Sign Up Now!Tough to say. For those 3 games where the snaps were ironed out, he was banging them through, but then everything went to shit againDo you guys think John Hohl is good enough going forward? I don't. I think Nebraska is going to miss out on another shot to bring in a high level kicker.
Special teams has cost him 3-4 games in 2 years and you don’t think he has time for it? I’d clear my schedule to address it. The thousand other bullshit items can take a back seat.
Ya I think he’s legit. Big leg and the ball comes off straight. Alvano might have a bigger leg but he hits a draw/hook. Dont think you’re training that out of him and it’s too much of a liability.Do you guys think John Hohl is good enough going forward? I don't. Should be pretty easy: "Hey Lavar, ever notice how shitty KKKirk treats black people?"We need to poach Lavar Woods somehow.
He's making <800,000k right now. KKKirk is under contract till 2029. Unless he trusts the university to give him the keys once KKKirk retires, we can easily afford him.Should be pretty easy: "Hey Lavar, ever notice how shitty KKKirk treats black people?"
Lavar: "Ya know, now that you say that it is not very good. No one would tell me what happened when that Chris Doyle left for the Jags..."
I think he gets promoted to TEs after Satt leaves in 2025.Still sticking with Josh Martin promotion.

Ha. Reading through that, Tenessee's frustrations with their special teams and our frustrations with special teams come from two different planets.Tennessee tators on Ekeler. Some haters. Overall did a good job on ST's.
Mike Ekeler reportedly "very interested" in Nebraska opening. - Page 2 - On3
"Sip" is Steven Sipple, who writes for Huskersonline and ON3. Hubbs also mentioned in the MNC he could see Ekeler making the move.www.on3.com
Yeah, I got a good laugh out of it. Those whiners don't have any idea what shitty ST's look like.Ha. Reading through Tenessee's frustrations with their speical teams and our frustrations with special teams come from two different planets.
Vols bitching about speicial teams: "Why don't we run fakes? We didn't we have a returner back to try for a kick 6 on OSU's long FG? Why does our PR guy line up too deep?"
Huskers bitching about special teams: "Why do we average getting one kicked blocked per game? Why can't we cleanly snap the ball from the LOS to our holder?"
If Nebraska can get to the point where we're complaining about the same things Tennessee is complaining about on special teams, it will be a vast improvement. I wouldn't waste any time worried about UT not liking Eckler as STC.
Why would you clear your schedule to address it when you could fire a shitty coach and hire someone to take care of it? Being a good coach or leader isn’t fixing every problem. That’s micromanaging. Finding the right people to fix it is the solution.Special teams has cost him 3-4 games in 2 years and you don’t think he has time for it? I’d clear my schedule to address it. The thousand other bullshit items can take a back seat.
He is at Pitt now and worked under Ekeler.I don’t know if Rhule has any ties or connection to Bronowski at Miami of Ohio, but he’d be worth a look.
I thought about him right away, but why would he ever leave Cockeye for us unless Kirk retires. We need to poach Lavar Woods somehow.
