I get the fascination with Busch, and I do believe he’d be an upgrade from Foley, but I’d rather Rhule get someone from outside the ‘family’ who’s got a few more years of coaching left in the tank and maybe some new ideas.

I think it’s between Mike Ekeler or Mark Scott. Rhule probably could get anyone he wants (other than the ND or IA coaches) for what he paid Foley plus the resources Nebraska has.

For year one with the new coordinator, I’d settle for not having any punts or FG’s blocked and at least having someone who can do something other than fair catch.

It’s a big ask, but I’m pushy sometimes.

Why, because Bo did it 10 years ago? MR doesn't have time for that shit. There's about a thousand other things he needs to concentrate on. He hardly has any ST experience anyway.

Hire the best guy you can get. Pay whatever it takes and LFG.

Special teams has cost him 3-4 games in 2 years and you don’t think he has time for it? I’d clear my schedule to address it. The thousand other bullshit items can take a back seat.
