My thoughts is if we're bringing him in as an OT that's fine, but if he's going to be a TE:

Yeah maybe we’re looking to move on from Peters or something tooI think they’re realizing Murphy may not fill out enough to play OT he’ll likely play defense. He looked like a WR recruit down there Saturday. Jake Peters also looked unbelievably small in person for a D1 OL recruit
Flynt looks like a future guard, no matter how much he wants to play TE.So the scholarship TE room next year:
Fidone
Boerkircher
C Nelson (frosh)
Flynt (frosh)
Ingwerson (frosh)
One of Flynt or Ingwerson can probably move inside. Makes sense to take both imo and then go grab 1 from the portal (Brahmer come on home pls)
I doubt Brahmer comes back. I think he's actually getting PT for Cockeye St this year.So the scholarship TE room next year:
Fidone
Boerkircher
C Nelson (frosh)
Flynt (frosh)
Ingwerson (frosh)

Don’t forget Flores from this year’s classSo the scholarship TE room next year:

we are just taking everybodySo we got Flynt, Brahmer, Ingwerson (?) coming in, and both Keelan Smith and Quinn Clark could potentially move to TE as well. I honestly have no clue what we are doing with the WR/TE/DB recruiting this cycle
^^ this is not true. Its been talked about extensively in the bomb shelter what really happened thereBrahmer flipped to ISU because his family loved Scott Frost & were mad about his firing. I don't think we need someone with that kind of thought process in our locker room lol
Flynt, and Ingwerson will more than likely finish on the like. Nelson is the only True TE with Smith and Clark having the potential to grow in the spot.So we got Flynt, Nelson, Ingwerson (?) coming in, and both Keelan Smith and Quinn Clark could potentially move to TE as well. it's amazing someone could think that and still be smart enough to get into a universityBrahmer flipped to ISU because his family loved Scott Frost & were mad about his firing. I don't think we need someone with that kind of thought process in our locker room lol
At some point we’ve got to stop taking a 25% haircut on each recruiting class because we take a bunch of fliers from FL that end up hating it here and leave within 18 months.Sounds as if we are going the Kstate route and getting as many local players as possible and develop. Culture first, talent second right?
I remember a TE croot a few months ago being talked about moving to OT, but DB saying if you mention playing the line to him it ended his consideration because he was adamant about playing TE. Is this the guy? Or was it someone else (like the TE from Prep)?Front Runner saying on the Scrollz that he's a TE and doesn't think he'll be be an OT. Obviously take that FWIW.

Edit: Here are Damon's comments on Ingwerson:
He's not a tackle guys. He's a ripped 240 guy. Catches the ball well too. He's pretty stinking good.
Hes a TE right now. He's coming around defensively. This isn't specific to you, but message boards are weird about stuff like this.
Not that either will, but Eric is significantly more college ready than Nelson to play next year. No one ever suggests position changes for him. It's almost like no one watches actual games.
